The mission of PORIB is the coordination and the development of activities in Economic Evaluation and Outcomes Research in the health-care area, with a high level of quality, integrity and excellence. The aims are:

• To generate evidence demonstrating the value (benefits for the patient, their caregivers, and society in general) and the therapeutic utility of health-care innovative interventions, in all its dimensions
• To demonstrate the efficiency of health-care interventions.
